First thing I would have to say is the SK LX is better than the iPhone on many levels... and I , too, got mine for under a hundred dollars. But the iPhone does offer valuable technology as well. But I'm not here to debate the superiority of either phone. I literally got my OTA update two hours ago and I was also disapointed in the mediocre internet upgrade. It's understandable, since the main focus of this upgrade was the video and music players, in order to keep up with the features on the new Tony Hawk limited edition LX. As far as THOSE upgrades, I am pleased with the results. Videos have good audio on them and have good picture quality. The music player is my favorite part of this OTAU. There are more features and you can now send/recieve songs via bluetooth. The bluetooth itself has been expanded so you can send more things with it. (Pics, vids, songs, files, weblinks, audio, ect.) In addition to the music and videos, the number of pictures you can send at one time via picture message has been increased to 5 and audio recording time has been extended to 40 seconds I believe. The dowload catalog has more room for ringtones and no longer requires restarting your phone when you install an application or theme. The instant messenger has more features (group chats, status message, ect.) and faster sending/ recieving. The email has been upgraded as well... but as far as I can tell the only thing that has really changed is the icon. :) The last big upgrade was the phonebook. It now has tabs where you can mark your favorites, display recent calls, and see which contacts are online. It will take me some time to get used to, but I am quite satisfied with the upgrade.
