But it may cost a lot if you don't have a roaming plan or something like that

Yes if you go to settings>network options and under the Roaming section you have Allow software and firmware Over-the-Air updates while roaming checked, you will get it.
But it may cost a lot if you don’t have a roaming plan or something like that
