Google Maps on the Sidekick
If you’re like me and tend to get lost, then maps are your best friend. If you’re also like me, it’s a pain to try to fold those maps back up and stuff them in your back pocket. Mike writes in to let us know that Google Maps will now work on your Sidekick. It’s not as great as the developer builds of a Google Maps app that were floating around, but it will do in a pinch to help you find your way. Just follow this link to use Google’s more Sidekick-friendly maps. It’s also best if you switch to (Menu->View) Full-Size layout in the browser.

I’ve actually been using Gogle Maps on the Sidekick for a while now. Yeah not too great but at least it works. I remember when it didn’t work.

How would it work without the internet? It’s GOOGLE maps that’s part of the internet. Also what Sidekick does’nt have the internet?!?!?

Why would I pay $$ for the data service if for (1) I have a computer @ home (2) It is just too much. For me I just want to text. I like the keyboard on the sidekicks. (3) For you to call ppl stupid cuz dey have a diff opinion than u makes u IGNORANT. So u know.

Well dumbass, nice to know your such a CHUMP to pay for muptiple things that do the same thing already. I get all I need from my Sidekick, no extra virus-magnet/security hazard (computer) or whatever needed. So who’s the real IGNORANT *** now?
