I say G1 because even though i would love to switch to the iphone or one of verizon’s amazing fones, i know i’m not the only one who’s stuck with t-mobile for at least another year or 2 simply because we keep extending our contracts so that we can still pay too much for the same fone..year after year.

The sidekick has been out since 2002, and have we REALLY seen any outstanding updates or changes?
Not really.
Time to switch to the G1.

What I don’t like about the G1 is that the AIM is through SMS… I like that the sidekick’s aim is through data.

im 11 and i cant wait to get the new sidekick 2008. I hear it’s great. I’ve done alot of chores just to get one and i wanna say happy birthday and i would never switch to g1. sorry, but that phone is not for me

ripsidekick is right its time to move on after how many years now the sidekick wants to get serious but they tricked us by buyin new sidekicks ever few months n years with juss a few updated OTAs which done nothin good to the sidekick when i bought the sidekick 2008 i thoughtit was gonna be different all it did was have a lil different music n after years it finally was capable of playin videos but then u had to convert them from youtube videos to be able to watch them n juss changin the shell thing jus to different colors n th n stuff had nothing else new interestin on it n decided to do updated bluetooh where u can transfer music or videos after how long they did it when they knew they could of done it before but they just want us wasting our money on sidekick go pre-order your G1 guys its time to move once again R.I.P all SIDEKICKS including the corporation its self

Happy Birthday Sidekick and R.I.P. 2001-2008

There’s no reason to own a sidekick anymore. There’s a device that’s cheaper, does a lot more, looks just like a Sidekick, and does everything we have been waiting for/wishing for the Sidekick to have.

There were devices on other cell phone companies that make that Sidekick look dated and now, finally we have a device on t-mobile that makes it look dated. No excuses guys. Time to graduate to a T-mobile G1 and leave high school already.
