MP3 Ringtones for Hiptop 3 / Sidekick 3

Got a Hiptop 3 and a provider that allows MMS like Telstra? Then Viva has written something you might be interested in, how to create your own mp3 ringtones. We’ve posted it here so that it’s preserved for future usage.

I usually can get away with 80KBS but just be careful because the larger the file, the more slots it can take up.. So you may have about 10 ringtones open when its empty, but if you upload files around 100kb to your device, it may take up 2 slots instead of one, leaving you with less than 10 ringtones due to storage space.
when I’ve uploaded them they stay on the server, and transfer between devices.. I’ve tried that on a sidekick3 and a LX..
This is good news for you Telstra Hiptoppers!

US T-Mobile users are pretty screwed then, eh? $350, and I can’t do some of the things that the free v360 could do over a year ago.. ::sigh::

T-mobile USA does not allow you to use your own ringtones. The LX is also a T-mo exclusive.. Telstra only has the Hiptop3 and the Hiptop Slide.
