But anyway, the netbook supposedly is going to be sold thru at&t with a 60 bucks monthly contract. I would love to buy it outright, but prolly wouldn’t need it.

The new iphone will probably cost around $299 for 8 gig for the first few months.
Then it should come down like the others do. I’m in the same boat as you, I really wanna get the 3g model but I asked the att rep about buying the new one after only 4 months of contract, they said I would have to pay full price, ($600 to $800)

Oh well, I will miss the keyboard. Sometimes change is good.

I’m just really excited for the new iPhone that’s going to be coming out this June/July, it’s suppsoed to have a better processor, more RAM, or both ! I’m hoping on both lol. As much as I want the iPhone 3G, I just really love having the latest hardware, so i’m gonna wait.

How much do you think it’ll be ? Oh btw, Apple netbook for $99 this summer.I’m super stoked for that. lol I think I’ll learn to use OS X just for that !

For example, the phones mp3 player isn’t adequate enough for me so I got an ipod touch. I never complained about it. I love both devices. If the kick isn’t doing it for you just find a device/phone that does what you “need” it to.

And crazyforkicks, I may not of always agreed with you but I respected your loyalty to the SK and you defending it to all the haters. Whether you end up abandoning the SK or not, I hope you don’t become one of those bitter ex-sidekick users that complain. If you do I suggest you leave the forum as well. (Don’t that the wrong way)

As far as some positive news goes, my kick has been acting a little funny lately. I get kicked off aim a lot. In my experience, the device starts acting funny before a new device is released because they’re tweaking the new OS. Hopefully we’ll get some more news soon…

I understand where your coming from, but my thing is that Danger/Tmobile/whoever, knows that can get money with these recurring fees when they dont have a real reason why it has a recurring fee. I understand that its always on and its constantly using data, but how much can it seriously be using. And compared to other phones like the iPhone and Blackberry, myspace/facebook are free. And with a lot of these apps, you can use the browser for free and it only takes a little bit longer. The only app I have with a recurring fee is mynewsroom, and I dont mind paying for that since I use it constantly and everything is much simpler then using the browser to check all my different feeds. So I dont see why they need a recurring fees. Especially after they raised the sidekick data plan.

Im really excited for the next sidekick and I want to get the new one(the LX was my first sidekick, and my contract ends in October). But I can already feel that we are going to be charged a recurring fee for a lot of things and thats gonna piss a lot of people off.

As for the price of the new kick, I’d rather it not be $350, but I could see it around $300 sadly. Whose to say what the new iPhone will cost? (Though, I’m sure it will still be cheaper than the SK.)
