I know my way around a soldering gun, so I was wondering about the specifics of the LEDs used. I don't yet have an LX, so I can't just crack it open to check. Can I use the ones that Sharp has used for the trackball and directional pad in the other sidekicks?

oh c’mon lets us know how to solder, and btw can you change it back to the blue color

its a complete hardware modification so you have to go back in and take out the green LED and put the blues back in. not just a “on/off” kind of thing.
