this happens to me alot and it is soo annoying because i had all my contacts and everything and they all whent andf i had to put them back on my phone then hours later i goto ring someone and it turns the screen off and all contacts and stuff are gone again its soo ******* dumb
STUID MOTOROLA MAKE YOUR PHONES SOO THEY ACCTUALLY WORK!!

I understand that but we all have our own opinions. Anyways, for those who do have the sidekick slide and have problems.. I have your answer! Call Tmobile and tell them your problem, they will send you the sidekick lx free of charge!

sidekick flow, im sorry but just because the Slide is “small & cute” doesn’t mean it was supposed to “out do all the freaking sidekicks”. No one ever said that. If they did, they lied. Its made by Motorola, it slides and its running OS4.0 The real Sidekick update is the LX. Its Sharp made, it flips and its running OS4.4…the screen is sick and it doesn’t turn off whenever it feels like it. And I’m sorry but if a customer service representative ever told me to just stick a business card in the back and it should be fine I would smack them in their face. What kind of ghetto @$$ **** is that? The Slide is not so bad in person but its defintely not made for traditional hardcore SK fans.

And something off topic…why hasn’t the Administration of this site put up a post about the OTA? I can’t be the ONLY person to have gotten it…

this slide was suppose to out do all the freaking sidekicks to come because it so small & cute but the turning off business is wack.. if i hold the phone & it turns off im sending it back 3 times in the same month & let them send me the LX for free. so people before you call tmobile wilding if you send your phone back more than 3 times in the same month you get a update free of charge but damn who should have to go through that you feel me? and who has the LX is it good? because i might just buy it and just sell this slide for 3 hundred & i paid 2 hundred.. pain & suffering

A few hours after getting my phone this started happening…I called TMobile and they told me some bs about doing a master restart…tried it and it didnt work…days later still having the same problem so I call TMoible back and they basically say they can issue me a refund since it is within the buyers remorse period or they can send me another one..BUT they cant make any guarantees that it will not happen with the other one they send me…
My phone powers off when I slide the screen down…lay it down on something to hard…or just when I hold it in my hand…I can see how the biz card thing can work with the slide issue but as someone else already said WHAT ABOUT THE DAMN THING TURNING ON AND OFF ON ITS OWN?!?
I’m buying an IPhone…I WANT MY MONEY BACK ASAP!

This happened with the first phone I ordered. I should’ve known better than to order a phone as soon as it came out, but you’d think they would have tested them. BUT I exchanged and my new one seems to be okay so far…
