One could ask "if somebody can afford $60 a month for T-Mobile service with data, can't they afford the phone with all the bells and whistles?" And in fact I assume most people will go for the Sidekick 3, but it's good to have another price point covered. Not everybody can swing the cash up front. And of course, it'll make the Sidekick even more affordable for the deaf. During the Sidekick 2 days though I remember you could get a SK2 for $50 after rebates at Amazon. What happened?
