My friends have sprint and verizon and say the plans suck and the coverage sucks. My parents broke the bank gettin verizon phones cause they camp a lot and their truck has on star (which is thru verizon) and they thought they’d get service but ther phones die at the same spot their tmobile phones lost service.

I lived in denver as well and tmobile was awesome unless you used that regional cricket service. That phone was good but only worked in one city.

Cingular has MUCH better coverage compared to T-Mobile. I had significantly greater reception with Cingular.

it depends on where you live and what phone you have. i had cingular before and it dropped more calls then all the sidekick 2’s dropped. and that was with 3 phones of theirs.. then i switched to tmobile.. not 1 dropped call in a year (so far).. i always have coverage.. wether im traveling or at home. t-mobile is a great company.. cingular is in more places in the middle of the country.. but other than that its pretty much the same.. (plus t-mobile’s customer care cant be beat).when i tried to drop cingular after my contract was up they tried everything to keep me.. they put me on hold for 45 mins because the supervisor wanted to change my mind.. how lame is that.. i hung up on the b**ch. lol anyways

i cant wait for the 3G network that will be out next year, its too bad you have to buy another sidekick thats compatible with the new network if u want the high speed connection.. but EDGE will still be there for people who dont want to upgrade again.. lol

Darkrooms are awesome. Best way to take pics I think.

Who even uses their phone for pictures? I mean if you want a good quality pic you won’t find a phone to do that, even the best nonphone cams still need proper light and what not. Yea the cam is bad but who has an sk3 and no digicam? C’mon now people digicams are less than the sk3. Buuuut I guess no one wants to carry like 483828 devices with them. Meh.

I have a sk2, a sk3, a MacBook Pro, a 60gb video iPod… and I do not have a digital camera, thanks.

I prefer film, paper, and darkrooms.

The only thing that irritates me more, is that in the same breath as calling the SK 3 the SK 2.5, people have the audacity to compare it to the MDA. I had the misforunte of owning the MDA for 2 weeks. That God awful device must be the phone that Satan uses. Sure, the camera was good, but that’s only because the screen was better than the SK 3’s. BOTH devices have a 1.3 megapixel camera. Other than a cool screen, the MDA is useless. The touchscreen is useless without the stylus, the keypad is awful and the AIM on the MDA (the most important fature to me on my SK) is NOT in real time, making it completely and utterly annoying and useless. I wanted to give the damn thing a chance since my SK 2 was broken at the time and the SK 3 had not come out yet. But after a few days of trying too hard and getting nowhere fast I settled for using my SK 1 until the 3 would come out. Truth be told, I’d rather use the old school Mortola Startac than the MDA. So if the SK 3 is the Sk 2.5, then the MDA = the MDGay

I don’t own a digital camera so I take pics with my phone all the time. I know it’s not the best quality but it gets the job done. I am fortunate that my female friends usually carry their digital cameras in their bags when we go out so that helps. But if you want a good digital camera/video recorder/microwave/pop corn maker/dishwasher/helicopter launch pad then get a device that is NOT a phone.
