The sidekick™ kind of like a id 2, while the lx is more for luxury (Most likely to have special editions). Also the Sidekick™ features is basically similar to the lx with the ota update except the Sidekick™ does not have flash. Which ever one you choose enjoy! I'm happy with my lx :).
