I bought this and went and bought a lense frame, because I was a scratch free lens to apply it to. Maybe I’ll do a video review and post it on youtube?

when will they be out for the sidekick 2008
August 13th, 2008 at 3:12 pm
I emailed them about it, they don’t have any idea when, but you can send in a custom order. It’s a little bit $$$, but if you can wait you may save some $$

They already came out with the one for the sidekick 2008

i think the danger people need to extend the length of the ringtones.. i mean cme on 2;49 for 10 seconds of a song that plays the same lyrics over and over.. the sidekick should have a hotter ringtone feature than that it is the hottest device i know

They’ll replace your shield for free. I really want to know what in the world you were doing with that coat hanger!

My shield came today. I just bought the screen protector. I can tell u that the material is good and seems like it can withstand scratches. I’m not so sure about the military grade status, but for day to day protection from lets say keys that are in the same pocket as my SK it should do fine. It came in a fancy box, at first I thought it was some anti virus software lol.
Now the installation was a bit tricky. You really have to have a steady hand. After I applied it I noticed that the film was a bit off center. It bugs me now but I’m sure I’ll get used to it. Also there are still some tiny air bubbles on the very edges of the screen that I can’t seem to get out. Also barely noticable unless you carefully examine the screen.
I’ll post an update in a few weeks.
Btw does anyone know how to take it off just in case?

I have been buying these since sk2. These things are awesome. I can take a knife and slide it across the screen with no worries. Im surprised about the coat hanger and yes, you have a lifetime guarantee. I got one for my new camera too!

Its been a few weeks since I applied the shield and so far so good. The material is very scratch resistant to almost anything that you would put in your pocket (ie keys).
I do have one gripe. I only purchased the screen for my Sidekick 3. The screen fit my sidekick but did not cover the entire width of my sidekick screen. After I applied it there was a few millimeters of uncovered space on the edges of the screen. This made it harder to apply because it became very difficult to center it. Overall after applying it was a bit off center. I don’t know if I’m being paranoid but it seems like the screen moved a little and is more off center than when I first applied it.
Overall I’m about 80% satisfied with the InvisibleShield. If only they made the screen a little larger to make it an exact fit for my SK 3…
