Hiptop 3 In Australia
According to the press release, it sounds like Telstra has launched the Hiptop 3 (you know, what T-Mobile calls the “Sidekick 3”) in Australia. It’s not on their site yet, but we imagine it will be soon. No word on pricing for our friends in Australia yet.

To All the aus people out the telstra ain’t going to bring the new sidekick lx 2009 into Australia. I got told by a family friend who is very high up on the telstra rank. You could by I’m from America or where ever unlocked. But if u read some of telstra’s q&a page on hiptops they will not allow u to get a 2nd hand and go on a plan. And I of mobile is unlocked of will only be worth for texng and phone class because of the other options only work on plans……hope that helps guy I was so angry when I heard this too 🙁 jess

if I get the hiptop sidekick 3 off eBay from america will it only work here in Australia if it’s unlocked ?
