PSP + Sidekick
What if a PSP got together with a Sidekick? Well, design student Samuel Lau thinks they’d go together perfectly. He’s come up with a design for a PSP with a screen similar to the Sidekick Slide, and a keyboard hidden underneath.
Some words from the designer, Samuel:
-Hope to have 50,000 views and 1000 comments.
-Then i will send this video directly to Sony for consideration.
-Once i reach the target, i will make another official proposal video to Sony.
-I am also raising fund for my education which cost about C$50,000. Hope if Sony like my idea and uses it, they pay half of my education fee.
-Hope i can see the real thing before Christmas 2009 (Fingers cross)!
-So be fast, spread the words!
-Last of all: YOU can make it happen!!!

PSP already has skype calling but gsm phone calling would be real sweet. Something completely different and potentially better than the iphone. Very nice

I think this idea this kid came up with is verry cool i love it. i really would like to know how much will it cost?Wich come to thik of it i dont care much i would like for the invention to come thru because i have a psp ans im forever playing i also have a sidekick and for ever textin so it woul be great if it comes out 2 in 1 it is so cool. Nice, nice. Always thought about it also thought about just being able to make calls or aim on the psp. But the design an a sony connect, we’ll deffenitly be seeing this no later then 2010 becuase of production reasons. Deffenitly a grate design. For the first fue to support this we should get to test them an see how they funtion an give feed back before the release….(just a thought)…………… but being able to sync my phone to my ps3 would be somethin for the alians….. but ＧＤ luck my dude, an don’t forget about the little people who help make your dream real enough to touch……..see
