Sidekick 2008 Dummy Phones

Some photos of Sidekick 2008 “dummy phones” have been posted over in the Tmonews forums. Dummy phones are just the body of the phone. They are non-working devices generally used just for show at T-Mobile stores. There are some good comparison pictures of these dummy phones with other dummy sidekicks.

   Has anyone heard anything on offical prices.. I read that on a 2yr contract its gonna be $250, does that pretty much mean without a contact it will be $300?

   someone said that in some magazine that it’ll be $150 with a two year contract.

   Yeah called the magazine is called “my bleu heaven”, it said with contract, $149.

   I just found the prices on Tmonews fourms, you guys probably already knew the prices but I thought Id post it anyway..

   New activation with a 2 year contract $150 (after a $50 MIR)
   New activation with a 1 year contract $200 (after a $50 MIR)
   Full Upgrade with a 2 year contract $168 (no MIR)
   Full upgrade with a 1 year contract $218 (no MIR)
   Partial upgrade with a 2 year contract $268 (no MIR)
   Retail Price $300

   I spotted the Gekko dummy at a T-Mobile kiosk. I asked the sales clerk to check it out. Its nothing like the demensions we got. The screen is way small and the bumpers look sorta like the Sidekick B/W and Color.

   You can get a free dummy phone. Like today I went to radio shack I asked if I could have an old one. They came out and gave me a (MOTEROLA Blur) and a (Htc my). Im not shure about the my part it
   was just on the back. But the point is the will normaly give the old ones.
