Sidekick LX 2009 – A Clearer Picture
Thanks to Ryan who just sent in a clearer picture of the Sidekick LX 2009 from the survey we previously posted. After further investigation and confirmation, we’re calling this 100% true. This is the Sidekick Blade. I think we all agree that it looks good, and that it’s a Sidekick worth getting excited about again. No word yet on release date, but we’re guessing about 4 months. That however is totally a guess.

Lol well I’m still stuck on what phone I’m going to get next..the Blade or the G2. If I can keep my grandfathered $19.99 data plan I’m sticking with the Sidekick.

the bottom of the sidekick is totally different then the previous sidekicks, this new one has the USB and the head phone hole instead of the volume and power button. i really cnt wait to see live pix of this instead of a cartoon

yer touchscreen would suck on the sidekick hipotps, not to mention make the price way over the top, maybe later done the track but atm i am loving the 3.2 camera and all that. no touchscreen needed, maybe just a better trackball to keep up with all my web browsing, ive had it replaced 2ce, but doesnt worry me, a great phone!

i know im gonna get a lot of STFUs and stuff lol but seriously, y did they not put a touchsreen? it’s not like the prices of sks are cheap anyway compared to the phones u could get thats more powerful for the same price. just sayin.
ill give them the benefit of the doubt that they atleast have a better camera and 3G. if i have enough money (which i didnt have the last time -_- for the sk08) i may have to look into this badboy
. or maybe get a sk08 because the price should go down on that with this coming out…hopefully.

I have the Lx & G1(the Lx 09 when is it coming out an will the Lx have the 3G updated Y/N..
An will Hiptop/Danger Sharp wrk w/Andriod in da Future because the App Game on the G1 sucks thy only have A real Cool game on the G1 which is the Real Pac-Man(I want the Real Tetris & bejeweled etc….

I have a sidekick lx and I’m lovin it all in all. The new one looks like it will be better. and mo mo this device IS getting new features. Mostly software but some hardware as well and trust me without the extra hardware features the new software would be useless. And I hear its getting Windows Mobile 6.1 instead of the Danger OS. if that’s true then no more paying for ringtones! Hopefully we can put than just 10 on there though.

Well my question is, if its called the Sidek!ck LX 2009, doesn’t this mean moodlights again? I love my moodlights but hopefully with this one, we can change the colors and sequence of them. I’m not giving up my LX ‘07 until I see more/better moodlights. They help me to see my phone out the corner of my eye. And some people ask,”why is your pocket glowing,” I’m like oh my badd, its my phone ringing. And they be hating seriouslyy!

I am really interested in getting this new sidekick because it looks like a really advanced piece of equipment! I mean all the other Sidekicks were jokes! Finally the Sidekick brand is stepping up and bringing it’s game. I think it would be so cool to be able to work on Microsoft Word on this phone! Oh and when I say they were jokes, I only mean all the phones except the LX because I love the mood lights!

I can’t wait for this phone to some out, I got the LX and its great and all but my friends all have G1s and iPhones, and they always give me **** that there phone is better. so I can’t wait so I can rub it in their faces.
p.s. this new one better have a better speaker, cause on all the sidekicks I’ve had the speaker sucks!! that’s one of the main things that bug me.

Well I was at the Local Tmoble sorte yesterday and they estimate that the new one will be launched by the end of April but did not know if the 19.95 plan will be grandfathered for upgraders. This is as close as I can get to an answer to what is going on. I plan on waiting to see what really develops
