Sidekick LX 2009 Themes For Free
The Sidekick LX 2009 has hit the streets and a lot of people are already looking to customize their devices. While themes for old devices from sites like sklxthemes.com or sk08themes.com kind of work, there are some changes plus a higher resolution screen to take advantage of!
So a new site has launched dedicated to free Sidekick LX 2009 themes: sklx09themes.com. Head over there to grab some free themes for your Sidekick LX 2009 or use the Theme Generator to create your own theme from your own images. For those of you that are experienced theme creators there’s also info on the new theme elements.

Radical! By the way, screw the $300 price tag the LX09 is! Ill stick with what I have until I can find a sweet deal on craigslist. 🙂

PS: The SK08 themes I had on my SD worked when I popped it into the new phone.

Old LX themes work on the new LX, but some of them won’t be sized right. Some of the themes I created need to be resized. Ill get it it this weekend. Plus the themes with custom icons r usually to small to see on the new LX. So good luck and happy creating.

I’ve noticed that some of my themes give the phone fits when it tries to fade between them.
IE. the Sabres one I made flows smoothly, but the Captain America one I DLed cause some funky lag.
But, hey, this is ‘officially’ Day 1, so we have time to tweak.

??I RETURNED MY LX 09 YESTERDAY. ITS WAY OVER RATED. IM A SIDE KICK FAN BUT THEY MADE IT SEEM LIKE IT WAS A TOTALLY NEW COOLEST THING EVER. I LIKE MY G1 BETTER BESIDES THE BATTERY SUCKIN @SS. LX 09 ISNT WORTH DA MONEY. WHEN IT HITS LIKE 150 THEN I’LL MAYBE GET 1. BUT I USED MY 09 FOR LIKE 5 DAYS, AND WAS DISAPPOINTED. I PACKED IT UP AND SENT IT BACK TO THEM??

I also heard that when some ppl downloaded these themes, it made their 09 lagg.

Sidekick 09 is awesome! The themes so far are great I look every day for more that stand out. My favorite theme is the atomic one! I hope they make more and with sounds too. :] like I always say to the sk users “Happy kickin”

Yes, keep searching craigslist but be carefull. I was lucky enough to find a sk lx 09 with box and accessories from someone who actually bought it from the store and i got it for $180. Seems he just wanted to end the contract and go back to the iphone.
A iphone lovers end was my treasure and luck 🙂
