Sidekick LX Manual Released

Looks like T-Mobile jumped the gun a little early and released the Manual for the Sidekick LX to us. We’re not sure if there are any surprises in it, but if there are we’ll be sure to post them here.

Sidekick LX Manual

Some new features we’ve discovered in our first combing of the manual:

    “Note! The SonicBOOM Music Player will play MP3, WAV, MIDI, WMA, AAC (MP4), XMF, RMF, AIFC, IMY, AMR files; it will not play RAM, M4P, FLAC, RA or any other file that is not listed above.”

Please do note, the Manual will show some features that have been removed by T-Mobile. It is a general Manual, not T-Mobile specific.

    Only thing I still don’t know about is the myspace mobile and the data plan.. I just hope they didn’t raise the price.

    Looks like the text messages will be automatically sent out to the towers when I get reception back which will make my life a lot easier so I don’t have to keep on clicking on “Send” every minute until I get reception. I also noticed a lot of new features. Definitely will be an upgrade for me from a broken Sidekick 3, I really can’t wait for another 4 days!!

  4. karen Says:

    4 days.. lucky! I still have to wait for 10 more!

    The one thing that bothers me is that the catalog is still limited “1600K for applications ” I mean come on can we get that up to 5000K or something. And also we still have a 100 message limit on the device for sms. I hope what Germanopher said about sms is true but I could not verify that in the manual. Oh well I will still be buying one lol on the 17th online! The screen alone makes it worth it to me.

  6. evester Says:

    can you buy it already online? i thought you could only buy it in store at those certain 5 cities?

    @karen
    ME TOO!! I HAVE TO WAIT. ugh we’ll suffer together

    I’m just afraid that if i go to tmobile on wednesday they’re not going to have it, the stupid guys at my store are complete idiots and for some reason never have any clue what’s going on. I asked if they were going to have reserve cards the day before they were available and they had no clue, i went back the next day and they had plenty and acted like they knew about them for a long time, even though they clearly didn’t.
