So, since the hiptop.com forums are toast right now, we’ve added a few more sections to the forum over here. Jump in and go nuts. We won’t censor anything unless it’s harassment or would get us arrested. To start things off, we’ve started a thread titled “How I got my Sidekick 3” in anticipation for all the stories that will begin at midnight tonight, and also a poll to see just how many people are getting the Sidekick 3.

After seeing this image, and reworking the layout for the site last night, we thought it would be good to have a fun little Photoshop contest. With the high res image as a source, send your creations to photoshop@hiptop3.com. We’ll post our favorites. 🙂

Ok, we know we’re not the only site out there reporting on the Sidekick 3 rumors. but at least we’re not making up news…
Sidekick3.blogspot.com has been posting various made-up stories, only to get pwned on each one. The best being a fake ebay listing for a Sidekick 3 from AOL member RWiLL40158.


We especially like how he has ” MS Paint” open with a doc called “ebay” in the screenshots. As if this didn’t need further debunking:
– Ebay user: hiptopdeals808 nor the auction # exist at ebay.com or ebay.ca.
– Check out this auction Same price, same item location, same member join date, and same auction end time. Can you say photoshop source?
– The auction image shows the URL “ebay.com” but the cancelled page shows “Ebay.ca” logo.
– Notice the Auction Item info in the Title Bar on the auction page?

Yes, there hasn’t been many updates lately. There’s no decent news, and we didn’t feel like making something into sidekick 3 related news even though it’s not related. If anyone has any leads, stories, or info they want to share, please send it to: news [at] hiptop3.com
