Pretty cool how Danger can continue to make new devices for years and years with really nothing new about any of them.
The differences between the original B&W Hiptop and the Sidekick LX in the grand scheme of things are pretty minimal considering how many years it’s been.

Alright. There is something I don’t understand. Why are there two different new sidekicks coming out at the same time? My sidekick 3 doesn’t work that well anymore so I will order one of those on the internet as soon as it comes out.
So, is the only difference they just swivel their screens in different ways? Or which one will come to the US? or both? Or one of them will come out this october and the other one will come out later?
Somebody please explain to me why there are two and which one should I get??

that’s wassup man. i’ma wait til i see the specs for it before i get too happy though. hopefully there are some big improvements, if not i will probably just get it for the new OS, unless the sidekick 3 will also be getting a OS update as well which i doubt.

When the sidekick 3 came out the price was $300 with a two yr contract, $350 with a 1 yr, and $399 for prepaid. Im guessing the same goes for the sidekick lx.

when we get a reserve card are they gonna take down our information so when i come in on the 24th they will have one waiting for me at the tmobile store or no? another thing is i have a sidekick 3 prepaid right now so do i have have to swap the sim card out and put it into the sidekick 4 or do i need to get a new sim card?

unless the rep hands me a free one thats the only way I’ll get one. Sidekick is a rip off they need to stop charging so much for the same phone year after year. The Sidekick III is by far the best one to come out.
Myspace works just fine on the browser I dont need a Myspace Mobile. The screen thing, its still smaller than some other phones like the iPhone. The email is still small you get enough pictures and it fills up quick. I just can’t understand like the hype for this or the Slide. The Slide looks out of date. Overseas in Europe & Asia, they get all the exclusive phones theres no way theyll sell a bunch of these unless its in Canada or Australia (refering to the Slide). They could have at least upgraded the camera to 2.0 Megapixel and added video

already got my reserve card and tmobile told me this isnt the sidekick 4 its just the lx slimmer and updated version of the sidekick 3 so u guys who thinks its the sidekick 4 u are wrong!!! sidekick 4 isnt out yet so if u want a slimmer and widescreen 3″ sidekick 3 with myspace options then the lx is right for u otherwise stick with your sidekick 3 and wait till the 4 comes out cause the lx isnt a sidekick 4!!!

Apparently, this is just the sidekick lx, just the hiptop 3 wit a make over and there will b a sidekick 4. So w8 4 the sidekick 4 if u want video, it shuld have it. The lx was made 4 the ppl hu want 2 buy a sidekick 3 but don’t lyk its chunkyness or screen size.

It was my personal opinon. If u look at it logicly, ppl sed that the sidekick 3 had a crappy screen and was 2 fat. So out cums the sidekick lx, thinner larger screen and my space as it was the most comannly used web cyt on the sidekick. So they were listning 2 wat it needed. So now every 1 is saying better camera and video, there gonna listen and the lx shuld have it. That’s my personal opion ker5e. Ans I kno there is gonna b a sidekick 4 sumin out coz as long as there are heaps of ppl drowling over them, witch there is they will keep on bringin then out.
