Sidekick MX and Sidekick FX?
Just like last year we’ve uncovered some new domains registered by T-Mobile. Both SidekickMX.com and SidekickFX.com (as well as the .net, .org, etc) have been registered by T-Mobile. These domains were originally registered on February 2nd, 2008 but show that the information was updated on June 5th, 2008. Neither of the domains are actually pointed at a live website though. This could of course mean absolutely nothing. They could just have been other names that T-Mobile was considering for the Sidekick 2008/Gekko, or could they be new devices? We haven’t found any additional information to confirm one way or another yet, but thought we’d at least share the info and let anyone out there do a little detective work if they wanted.

Being on the 08 Sidekick Hub those were two choices of about 10 provided by the hub leader as new sidekick names for us to choose.

If this is a new sidekick then I am going to be pissed because they make one every damn second. It is good, but It’s gonna be hard to pay another 300 dollars when I just got out of dept from the last sidekick. LOL.

This is probably gonna be the 3G sidekick. I’m still getting the Dream, but if this is good then I’ll get this too, way too many phone =-S

This would be great. Is this was the only sidekick produced for about a year or so that would be phenominal. It would be the first kick up to dae with all of the other phones out there.

why the hell people complaining that new sidekicks come out too fast? i dont see anything wrong with that, if you dont have the money to get new sidekicks i suggest you goto college and find yourself a better job.

Thats not the point, whats the use of coming out with a new sidekick when you’re just gonna over charge for it with a few upgrades from the last sidekick that has been on simple phones for years now!

@ jon : all of the sidekicks that come out come out with little upgrades that just make people stick with their previous devices. compare the sk3 to the sklx and there’s not much of a difference. look at all of the sidekick lx reviews online and see what they have to say. since I know you’re not gonna look, ill tell you. they say if you’ve never owned a sidekick before, get the LX. if you have a 3, stay with it because you are not missing out on anything…

Your absolutely right. The only thing the LX has over the 3 (when it launched) was a better screen. Now it has video. The Gekko only adds a 2 MP camera and customizable shells to all the things the LX already has. Not to mention all SK’s have the same OS ever since i can remember. I currently have the SK3, but I don’t plan on getting another Sidekick unless T-Mobile comes out with an SK that is vastly different and superior to my SK3.

i was a sidekick boi ever since the 1st and i had been turned into an iphone buff… i love them both.. now i find my lovely carrier at&t have there verson… holla to all on at&t the sharp sidekick fx is what i have been dreaming about… it is fully touch screen and rocks a smaller and lighter design… im so pumpped… ya to me.. the sidekick is a work of art.. i have owned every single one from designers D.V.,dwane wade, LRG, jucie coutre, LX, 2009, oh and the 2008 lol every color.. but now i have a new one a touch screen… ill let you all know how it is…
