Da helio ocean is fugly. It only has 3 rows of keys it wuld b so uncomfertable 2 use. I luv da sidekick u can hit all easily

actually the ocean is very comfortable, more than it looks…. plus you get more functionality on the phone. not only does it do video but they are automatically uploaded to your email and youtube account. as well as having built in GPS and geotagging for your pictures so you always know where you took them. they are bumped to flickr, so you check on the map and you can see where you’ve taken all your pics. such an amazing phone! i use to be a SK FREAK, or SK WHORE as i told people… then helio showed me the light! since its a dual slider i get so many looks! everyone wants to play with my phone at work, and all the SK uses are just played out lol 😀

I sidekick is awsum. It has a all da functions u need nd does dem well. Its wuld u rathur a fone dat has all da main featurs well or a fone dat had every featur but does dem all shit.

ONLY THING THAT I NOTICE AND ALOT OF SIDEKICK LX USERS TELLIN ME TO WITH IT IS DAT DA BATTERY DOESNT HOLD UP AS WELL LIKE THE SIDEKICK 3 DID WITH THE OTA UPDATE SO I THINK WERE GONNA NEED A OTA UPDATE FOR THE BATTERY….OTHERWISE DA PHONE IZ RAW AS HELL AND DA SCREEN LOOKS SICK WHEN U ON DA INTERNET LOOKIN AT PAGES EVERYTHING LOOKS SUPER CLEAR AND REAL….
AND DONT GET THE MYSPACE APPLICATION ITS POINTLESS WHEN U CAN SIGN ONTO IN ON THE WEB BROWSER WHICH ALOWS U TO VIEW EVERYTHING IN CLEAR AS DEFENITION….U CANT VIEW EVERYTHING ON THE MYSPACE APPLICATION I COULDNT EVEN CHANGE MY EMAIL ADDRESS SO I DELETED IT…JUST A WASTE OF MONEY IF U GET THE APPLICATION SERIOUSLY!!!

PEOPLE SAYING CHARGE IT RIGHT WHEN U GET IT AND THATS WHAT I DID I CHARGED IT UP FOR 9HRS THEN TOOK IT OUT PLAYED WITH IT FOR AN HR AND LOST ONE BATTERY LIFE I WAS USIN AIM MESSAGING AND LISTENING TO SOME RINGTONES AND ALL THE SHT IT HAS TRYING TO SEE HOW IT WORKS AND STUFF DEN I PUT IT BACK INTO THE CHARGER AND LET IT CHARGE CAUSE I WENT TO SLEEP WHEN I WOKE UP I TOOK IT OUT DA CHARGER AT 11 IT WAS FULL AND LATER FROM USIN IT JUST SEEMED IT COULDNT HOLD UP AS THE SIDEKICK 3 BATTERY DID WITH THE OTA UPDATE SO IM GUESSIN THE SIDEKICKLX IS GONNA NEED A BATTERY OTA 🙁

I’m sorry but this phone is pretty sad.No WIFI!!!!!No video play back!!!No strero bluetooth????And this is Hot phone why?
The Ocean is way better.And everyone looks at you and drools when you slide it both ways.

Umm a lot of ppl look @ da helio ocean nd goes dat is relly fugly. Its pointless havin 2 slidy ways. Da oceans lay out is relli fugly. Da buttons r stuipd on da ocean as dey r diffrent from a puta keyboard. Wat retard cam up wit dat idea?

lilmoe15 you are so right. when i have my phone at work, EVERYONE wants to slide it both ways haha. and the keyboard is amazing on it, i can type just as fast as i could with my kick. i like the dual slider because it actually looks like I’m talking on a phone when I’m talking with it…nobody ever has to ask me “how the hell do you hold this” and give me a confused look like when i had my kick. dont knock it till you’ve tried it. ;]

Those lights flashing on the side of the lx would keep me from sleeping (think the police is outside). I agree that the Sidekick 3 looks better than the lx in my opionion.
Practice what you preach. If you never messed around with and Helio Ocean, than you can’t judge it. We had proffesional reviewers tell you what others have been saying for a while on this board. Its not a 2007 phone. They could have put the bigger screen on the sidekick 2 years ago if they wanted.
As for if a phone needs video? Watch the news and see how many amazing spare of the moment things are captured on phones with video (sudam). When you got the zoo, are a concert. People are using video phones. Just becuz YOU don’t use it dosnt mean other people don’t. Don’t think about what u just want and use. Think about what the cell phone market wants and use. FEATURES!!!

THE RINGTONES ARNT AS LOUD AS THE SK3!!! The sidekick 3 ringtones arnt that loud. That must mean the mp3 player isn’t that loud either. I hate when I’m playing music om my SK3 and people right next 2 me tells me to turn it up so they can here. Then I say that’s as loud as it goes. Now that sucks monkey nuts!!!

the reasOn dee backlight keeps shuttiin Off and On iz because
itz like dat becuz the circle where the screen piece is takes the light in frOm dee rOOm tellin dee device if u have enOugh light 2 see dee screen withOut dee backlight sO actually it help u save battery

Sidekick lx`s r aite. im satisfied wit everythiing it offerz except yes the lx is not loud at all nd I hate dat kuz I love loud phonez. Nd u can’t download any free ringtonez only buy em. Im not complaining tho. The lx iz aite

Uh…so who’s down with the iphone? Haha I’m kiddin but the sidekick is way cool I be telling people that it doesn’t open up and its touch screen that’s why it doesn’t have buttons, as a security measure it doesn’t respond to other people touching it cuz I have my fingerprint stored. Gets em everytime

I, personally adore my sidekick LX. HOWEVER, the speaker is far from good. Which is extremely aggravating. Have yet to use the Helio Ocean, so I refuse to get into THAT debate. all I know is, my sidekick lx swivels, and looks DAMN good doing it! ;]

Looooooook I had a helio ocean when it 1st came out.. Prob best phone I ever had… but the lx is just way more updated ONLIIII BAD THING ABOUT THE LX 2 ME IS THE BATTERY LIFE I charge tht shit allll night (I just got the phone last week) and it would last from 1 in the afternoon to like 10
My Sidekick id lasted from 830 in the morn till 10 at niqht Without the blacklight bright as hell

man fuck the sidekick LX 2009 its not worth the fucking money only thing it does is play videos on youtube and you’;re actually watchin the mobile videos on youtube it dont even fill the whole screen the battery dies fast the screen in not larger in both width and length just width it has a cool light and its kinda faster but idk i dont like it as much as i thought i would especially with the damn key board so fucking hard…..this phone doesn”t complety suck but you would think i could watch a video and it would have good resolution…anyways just mly opinion…cant wait for the mytouch its gonna be the shit
