What is the name of the next Sidekick device?
For several months now, we’ve heard all sorts of rumors on the next Sidekick device, scheduled to come out at the end of this month. We’ve done our best to keep track of everything and weigh out which one is more likely. We’re tired of it. Here are the names so far that we’ve heard:
- Gekko
- Gecco
- Aspen
- 2008
- Style2
- Snap
here at Hiptop3.com, we’re going to go with Sidekick Gekko until we hear otherwise officially. It’s the internal name used by Danger and it’s also shown up on T-Mobile things as well. This is a rumor blog, we do our best to check on things before reporting, but sometimes we feel it’s better to report based on what we have and give a disclaimer. Sometimes we get it a bit wrong. Sorry!

I think its definitly ‘Gekko’ or ‘Gecko’ however its spelt lol, because when rumors first started coming up thats the name that was used wasn’t it.. It was either that or ‘Aspen’ I think.

i just hope that the new sidekick has a good screen or an even better screen than the LX i have a 3 now and I’m waiting for this one hoping this is a bargain and a good phone

I’m having trouble logging into my tmobile account. For thr past few days its been saying that I have used 0 out of my 700 minutes. My new billing cycle ends on the 18th and I know I have used like 500 plus minutes. Anyone else having this problem?

yea i have the same problem i checked my account through my phone (#646#) and it said i used my minutes but on my tmobile it says zero….

i’m guessing this gekko doesn’t have flash for camera because i don’t see it. i still have sidekick 3 and i’m trying to decide if i want this or just wait for a different sk.
