First Official T-Mobile Sidekick 4G Video

We’re a bit behind in the news as we’re still getting over the hangover from SXSW. But while we were gone, T-Mobile has gone and dropped all sorts of news on the new Sidekick 4G. Here’s a video they released a couple days ago.

    Love it, must have.

To me, this is the best Sidekick yet. It may not have a swivel screen, but the opening mechanism is similar to that on the G2, which is also very unique.

The design of this phone is absolutely stunning. They took the Sidekick design, and beefed it up a couple of knots. Absolutely perfect. Screen looks so crisp and clear, Front facing camera is a definite plus, and the overall look is simply amazing.

Plus, Android is a huge step up from Danger OS, which was really far behind in terms of technology.

I’ve had every Sidekick, except the slide. This seems like it could be the start of a beautiful line of future sidekicks.

Don’t your hopes up, until you see the sales.

I don’t go by sales figures. I go by what I prefer in the phone, and this is basically everything that I want.

Keyboard, touch screen, Android, front facing camera. And, well, it’s a Sidekick. So to me, it’s perfect.

You’ll be the only person with this garbage then, cause the real sidekick fans are dead.

  10. Kara Says:

Any word on a delivery date yet T-Mobile? Or even when demos will be in stores? It is not like we will wait until the upgrade deal ends to decide between this and another carrier.

  11. Nikki Says:

I love how they showed exactly what we see in pictures but nothing more…. is it just me or did past videos really show in depth features of the sidekick..

the swivel is not what made a sidekick a sidekick
thats something hardcore fans dont want to get over…
what made the sidekick was its landscape orientation
and its OS nothing to do with tilty swively screens thats
something sharp experimented with obviously their patent
    not something samsung can do.

  14. GEOvanne Says:

I have mixed feelings about this. I’ve never owned a sidekick before (but I enjoyed playing with one). I like it but apart from the lack of swivel, there seems to be something off about it. It looks like its almost falling into the realm of other phones instead of standing out like a sidekick. I’d still get it though.
